Where is the wilderness location?

The wilderness is the place where YAHUAH pled with our forefathers in the time of Moses.

 

In the bible there are many places called the "wilderness".

​​

According to Isaiah 11:14 the last wilderness where the Israelites will be is in Moab and Edom (Southern Jordan).

​

That is also the place where our forefathers have wandered for 40 years in the time of Moses. History is repeating itself. Deut.2:14.

The wilderness is in Kadesh

Let us locate the wilderness with simple facts

"Notice that the place names are different, but the events are the same"

The Israelites went to spy out the promised land:

Num.13:1-3, 17, 26 / Joz.14:7 / Deut.9:23 / Num. 33:36

​

Kadesh is in Edom:

Num. 34:3 / Num.33:37 / Num.20:14-16 /

Dan.11:41 / Judges 11:16-17

Edom is in Jordan

​

38 years they wandered that area: Deut.2:1, 14 / Deut. 1:46

​

The wilderness wanderings were in the area of Eilat/Aqabah and Petra

That is the whole area in Edom outside of the cities

It is not 1 small area where the whole nation will camp.

We did that in the past with Moses.​

Now the wilderness area is a dry and barren place. This is in accordance with prophecy, but when the Israelites move to the wilderness, the wilderness will start to blossom. And there will spring out streams of water. According to Isa.35.

 

Isa.35

1The wilderness and the solitary place shall be glad for them; and the desert shall rejoice, and blossom as the rose.

2 It shall blossom abundantly, and rejoice even with joy and singing: the glory of Lebanon shall be given unto it, the excellency of Carmel and Sharon, they shall see the glory of the Most High, and the excellency of our Most High.

3 Strengthen ye the weak hands, and confirm the feeble knees.

4 Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your Most High will come with vengeance, even The Most High with a recompence; he will come and save you.

5 Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped.

6 Then shall the lame man leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert.

7 And the parched ground shall become a pool, and the thirsty land springs of water: in the habitation of dragons (snakes), where each lay, shall be grass with reeds and rushes.

8 And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein.

9 No lion shall be there, nor any ravenous beast shall go up thereon, it shall not be found there; but the redeemed shall walk there:

10 And the ransomed of the Lord shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.

Moab and Edom meets this requirement perfectly.
